TIPS FOR MOVING TO A NEW OFFICE

PLAN AHEAD, quite a lot of people miscalculate the amount of time it takes to moves furniture to a new office.   • Draw up a floor plan of the new office, put down the measurements of the room, go back to your old office and measure up the furniture to ensure they will fit into the rooms.
  • Now, it’s a good time to have a look at the plan with the staff that will be moving and assign who will be using which room.
  • With the floor plan on deck, check to know if the furniture will fit into the new office. Or maybe, you have to make some little adjustment to utilize your old furniture, or some furniture needs to be disposed of.
  • Phone, electricity and internet providers also need some time to re-arrange the network for the new office. Based on the size of the move, you may want to plan this relocation a few months ahead to ensure a smooth transition to the new place.
